It’s hard to believe 2014 has come and gone and we are now headed into 2015! With that said, 2014 was an amazing year for us and Eric and I are even more excited for what 2015 will have in store.

Let me just say that I am so incredibly happy to be back on a creative path. A few years ago I let life get in the way and pushed all creative projects and hobbies aside. This blog saved me and now I can’t even remember what life was like before it!

Thank you for following along, and I hope you have found inspiration along the way to make messes, think differently, and create something 🙂

I have a lot of goals set for this year but they pretty much all revolve around getting healthy. I think I may have made a few too many trips to that hot chocolate bar over the holidays…

Of course my goals for getting healthy don’t just revolve around losing weight, or eating better, but making sure to take the time needed to work out and live a more balanced life. Of course I’m aiming for progress, not perfection as anything would be an improvement at this point. I also really need to clean up and organize my crap errr craft room.

It’s funny because I’ve always enjoyed working out and this was the first year I really fell off the wagon.. and I work from home! You would think that would make it easier, but it somehow made it more difficult because rather than get up and go work out, I just start working right away. So um yeah, I’m gonna aim on making more time for myself so I can get healthy and feel better. Cheers to that!

So do you have any resolutions or goals for the new year?

  1. Katie – you are so talented! Love all of these projects. I almost forgot how much I love that dresser. I really need one just like it. Getting healthy is a big 2015 goal for me too. (As I sit here eating cookies) Happy New Year, friend!

    1. Thanks Alexis, I loooooove that dresser too! As much as I love the holidays and treats, I’m ready to kick those cookies and treats to the curb… just as soon as I finish eating the last of them, haha. Happy New Year!
