Whether you’ve planned a wedding, or are in the midst of planning one now, you probably know just how quickly the cost of everything can add up. Our wedding was on a major budget, which is why I designed our own invitations, which you can download for free here. So naturally, I was excited when my sister asked if I would design her wedding invitations. She wanted something simple and rustic for their intimate, outdoor wedding and I love how they turned out.

FREE PRINTABLE WEDDING INVITATION TEMPLATE

The design I created for my sister was actually a little different than this free template because I used paid fonts and changed the formatting a bit. However, I wanted to share a version that you can download for free and edit yourself. It’s set up as two per page and you can then print as many copies as you need.

I sell the matching set over in my shop, which has a few additional invitation template designs so that you can use whichever you prefer. It also includes both the JPG templates and the editable PDF files.

HOW TO EDIT:

This free invitation template is set up in JPG format, meaning that it’s a flattened design that you add your own text on top of. It’s also set up with two per page, and once you save it to your computer you can add your personalized text using your own editing software or over at Picmonkey.com. I have tutorials on how to add or delete text with PicMonkey here.

The sample shown was printed from home on kraft cardstock, which you can purchase at most craft or paper shops. If you’re looking for additional paper options, one of my favorite shops for invitation stationery is Paper and More.

FONTS USED:

The fonts used in the sample are Bromello and Charlevoix Pro, both of which are available to download for free for personal use only. Bromello is also available for sale here.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD:

To download click the button below. It should open the file in a new browser tab and from there you should be able to right-click and select “save as” to save it to your computer.

Again, this file is set up as a flattened JPG that you add your text on top of. You can find tutorials on how to edit this type of file here, otherwise, you can find editable PDF templates in our shop.

All designs are for personal use only, and cannot be altered, resold or redistributed in any way.

  1. Thank you so much for sharing your template! We’re planning our wedding, also on a budget and these let us save so much. We can now spend a little more on decorations to make our big day memorable. Thanks again!

  2. Thank you so much for all of this! My fiance and I used one of your templates for our very low-key wedding and we couldn’t be happier. Much appreciated!

  3. I am struggling to download as pdf – when I click the download button it just opens as a pdf. Could you please provide a link to the pdf?

    Thanks

    1. Hi Sophie,

The free file is actually a JPG. When you click the link it should open a new browser tab with the image. From there you can right click the image to save it to your computer.

      Here’s the direct link:

We also have the matching set with editable PDF templates available in our shop as well:
