Yay, it’s time for The Makers Link Party!  Oh my goodness there were so many inspiring projects linked up last week, don’t you agree? We appreciate you sharing your creativity with us and can’t wait to see what you have been up to!

By the way, I’m so sorry if you stopped by last week and saw that my site was down. I had server issues and am actually beginning to transition to another host provider. I spent a lot of hours last week trying to get everything moved over, but it looks like I’ll have to devote some more time this week to it.

Alrighty, let’s get this party started!

Here are this week’s features and as always, be sure to pin from the original source 🙂

This week’s featured blogger is Angela from Blue i Style and she shared the secret ingredient to getting a really clean chalkboard wall. I couldn’t believe what it is and can’t wait to try it out! So what is the secret weapon? Head on over to find out!

I had the pleasure of meeting Angela at the Haven conference and not only is she freakin’ adorable and super creative, she can get down on the dance floor too! She is an attorney turned stay at home mom and blogger who shares amazing tutorials, great organizing solutions, and beautiful room transformations!  She also has a unique and fun style, which she calls Modern Metro with a Touch of Urban Funk. Don’t you just love that?

Here are a few posts to get you started:

Be sure to stop by to see exactly how she made it, and while you are there be sure to check out the rest of the projects she completed in her son’s room!

This dresser transformation from Shades of Blue Interiors is pure chippy perfection, and those jadeite knobs add a great splash of color. Hop on over to view some more photos of this beauty and get some milk paint tips!
