Trina and Steve both grew up in Alaska but moved to Phoenix 5 years ago. While they maintain a permanent residence, these two love adventure and make monthly camping trips.

How would you describe your decorating style?

Boho/Organic/Rustic

What are you most inspired by?

Nature

How long did it take you to remodel your RV/Camper?

Three months

How much did you spend on the renovation?

$7000

Did you do everything yourself, pay a professional or do a mix of both?

Mix of both

Paint Colors Used?

BM Bright White

Type of Flooring used:

Laminate and penny round tile

What is your favorite project in the RV?

The custom headboard. I’ve never seen anyone do something like it in an RV.

What was your least favorite project?

Figuring out how to cover all of the holes left in the walls from where we removed cabinetry.

What was most challenging about your renovation?

Trying to figure out how to incorporate the water pump into my design. It turned into my favorite part of the RV!! I designed a custom bench with a hinges top to hide it, but still keep access.

What project made the most difference in the space?

The custom dining bench

What do you enjoy most about your space following the transformation? Is there a specific area you spend most of your time?

The dining room for sure!

Where’s your favorite place to shop for décor?

World Market, Target, Homegoods

What piece of advice would you give people starting an RV/Camper renovation?

Don’t be afraid to hire out things you don’t know how to do.

What has been your favorite place to explore so far during your journey?

The White Mountains of Arizona!
