10 Creative DIY Wedding Favor Ideas
1. DIY Candy Buffet Favors via Project Wedding – You can fill all sorts of pretty glass jars with different types of candy and then have decorated bags, boxes, or jars for guests to take them home in.
2. DIY Scrabble Magnet Favors via Project Wedding – Anyone who knows me knows how much I LOVE scrabble, for that reason I think this favor idea is really neat. You can spell out all sorts of words associated with love, attach a magnet to the back of each piece and then put them in personalized, tin cans.
3. DIY Succulent Wedding Favors via Weddings by Lily– I love the look and texture of succulents and they seem to be very popular these days. Plus you can customize the containers and the cardstock to match your wedding.
4. DIY Honey and Granola Jar Favors via DesignSponge – This is a great idea, especially if you can find some local honey to use. To make this yourself you could simply fill one jar with honey, the other with granola, attach cute labels and place them in a pretty box with a personalized tag.
5. DIY Coffee or Tea Bag Favors via Intimate Weddings – I love coffee and tea and would be happy if I received a favor like this at a wedding. I also think the labels “Love is brewing” or “The Perfect Blend” is cute. You could do either just coffee beans, just loose tea, or do a mixture of both! If you are having a seasonal wedding, say in the fall, you may want to incorporate that into it as well like maybe a Pumpkin Spice tea or a Caramel Apple coffee.
6. DIY Matchbox Favors via Lia Griffith – This is another affordable option and I think it would be cute to place the matches in a sachet with a couple of tea light candles that match the colors of your wedding.
7. DIY S’more Love Favors via Elizabath Ann Designs – I LOVE this idea, plus who doesn’t love s’mores? This would be great for a rustic or backyard type wedding. Isn’t the packaging just so freaking adorable?
8. DIY Cheesecake in a Jar Favors via Ruffled – These jars are so cute I just want to put one in my pocket. I don’t anyone who doesn’t like cheesecake so you may need to make a few extras if you go this direction. After all, you never know who may “borrow” a few extras.
9. DIY Wooden Coaster Favors via Ruffled – I am all obsessed with different types of wood and just love the variety of colors and textures available. This is a great idea that is super cute, eco-friendly, and won’t break the bank.
10. DIY Wedding Trail Mix Bar via Pinterest original source unknown 🙁 – This is another affordable option that would be great for a wedding in the mountains. You could have individual jars with guest’s names on them for them to fill up, or use personalized bags instead.
