Today I am featuring an absolutely gorgeous driftwood buffet makeover via Reeves over at The Weathered Door.
The first piece Reeves ever created was a headboard out of an old door (hence her blog name), and she has been upcycling and reinventing furniture ever since. Oh and did I mention this talented gal is under the age of 20!? Talk about awesome!
Here is a before photo of the buffet:
Although this craigslist treasure was already quite lovely prior to its transformation, I can’t help but be drawn to the rich contrast between the taupe milk paint, white rose knobs and the perfect balance of distressing.
It’s absolutely gorgeous, as are all of the furniture pieces Reeves works on and sells locally in Seattle. So forget searching Pinterest for furniture inspiration and just browse her before and afters instead!

Great makeover, wonderful what these folks can do with outdated looking furniture.
I agree! Thanks for stopping by JoAnn 🙂
So kind! Thanks for sharing, this buffet is one of my favorites 🙂

It’s gorgeous, as are all of your pieces! Every time I look at the photos I feel like I get lost in them 🙂
I can’t wait to test out milk paint. Thank you for all of your inspiring work!
