I recently shared the Top 5 Reader’s Posts of 2013, and today I am sharing my 5 favorite posts of 2013.
As my blog continues to evolve, so do I and it’s fun to see the variety of projects I have worked on and created this year.
Here are 5 of my favorite projects in no particular order, enjoy!
5. Mason Jar Chandelier – I bought this baby for a mere $5 at a thrift shop and it turned out to be the perfect lighting above our wedding sweetheart table.
4. Nautical Ship Helm Wreath – Okay, this project was so easy it felt like cheating but I LOVE it. In fact, I even made a nautical Christmas wreath from another ship wheel.
3. Wood Planked Coffee Table – This may have been one of the easiest furniture transformations, but it is also one of my favorites. In fact, I almost wish we never sold it. Good news is I can always make another one like it.
2. Our Handcrafted Wedding – This post shows photos from our DIY wedding which was A LOT of work, but soooo worth it! I may be a Nathey now, but Murphy’s law sure took over that day, yet it turned out beautiful regardless 🙂

1. Mason Jar Wall Storage with Vintage Yardsticks – This is the first upcycled project I did that I was super proud of. As a DIY blogger it’s often difficult to come up with fresh ideas that haven’t already been done countless times. I know mason jar organizers are nothing new, but I hadn’t seen them on yardsticks before and I love the way it turned out. This project also wound up being my first Etsy sale. Woot-woot!
It was fun to look back on some of my favorite posts and I hope you enjoyed it too.

Thank you so much Krista! We move in a couple weeks and I’m feeling sorta in limbo until we get all settled in, but am definitely looking forward to 2014 projects. Thanks for stopping by!
You have made some very nice treasures, Katie! I especially love your ship helm wreath. Your creations are beautiful.
Thank you so much! Sorry this response is so late but I just saw your comment. Hope you have a great week!
Oh my goodness…how have I not seen your amazing Blue Mason Jar Chandelier! Seriously, I’m drooling right now. Made sure I’m following you on bloglovin’ so I don’t miss any more of your DIY fabulousness.
Thanks Lauren! Oh man I LOVE that chandelier but left it at the wedding venue we were married at so other brides could use it. I am going to have to make another one soon so I can enjoy it 🙂
