This week we’re featuring a nautical Airstream remodel that exudes summer vibes. It’s modern, bright, casual, quirky, and it may just inspire you to take a seaside trip.
This is yet another amazing vintage camper renovation from Stagecoach Detail and Design, a family-owned company located in the PNW that specializes in vintage trailer renovations, Airbnbs, and vintage trailer park hotels. We previously featured The Joshua Tree Suite, a vintage camper they renovated for a client.
Today we’re taking a peek inside The Orca, which was created for a client as a second home in Tiny Tranquility Park.

What led to your passion for renovating vintage trailers?
We started renovating RV’s with our own trailer (a 1977 Coachman) when we started having babies. It was so much fun we decided to do it again and again until we made the decision to go all in and start Stagecoach Detail & Design.
How would you describe your decorating style?
That’s tough. I can appreciate all styles but I definitely love working with bold colors and patterns most.
What are your favorite places to source products and decor?
Thrift shops for sure! It’s always a fun way to find unique items that aren’t found in all big box stores.
What was most challenging about this Airstream remodel?
Oh gosh where to begin… all units come with their own unique set of challenges and no two trailers are alike.
What is your favorite piece of decor or splurge-worthy item that was incorporated into the interior?
The Serena and Lily wallpaper in the Orca was definitely my favorite splurge for that design as well! Those whales really make the space and melt my heart!
What piece of advice would you give someone about to embark on a camper renovation?
Everything is more time consuming and more expensive than projected because with vintage trailers you should always expect the unexpected oh and nothing is level… so get ready for that too! Once your RV is finished, it’s the most rewarding feeling ever and worth all the blood, sweat and tears!
Most asked about product sources:
We definitely get asked about that adorable Serena and Lily wallpaper in the Orca I’ve probably received the most messages about. I also get a lot of questions about our window treatments. All questions I’m happy to answer on our Instagram page.
Do you take on custom renovation projects?
Yep! When we first started our business plan as a licensed dealership was to renovate and sell RV’s but almost immediately we began booking up with customer renovations so now that’s pretty much all we do and love it!
