The past few months have been somewhat of a struggle, and if I’m being completely honest, this is the first Christmas I felt like something was missing…
Turns out that something is family, so Eric and I decided at the last minute to embark on the nearly 3,000-mile journey to spend the holidays with them. We can’t believe it’s been almost 2 years since we saw them, and are pretty excited for them to meet McNally.
Gotta love the perks of having a home on wheels, eh?
RV Christmas Tour
I was able to snap some photos of our RV decorated for Christmas just before we took nearly everything down to pack up.
We hit the road in the morning but I wanted to pop in and share some photos of our RV decorated for Christmas, along with a quick video tour.
We didn’t buy anything new this year, aside from real greenery at Trader Joe’s and a Christmas tree permit for the National Forest, but luckily a little goes a long way in a tiny home. The best part is we don’t have to store these items after Christmas.
True confession, we actually picked up 2 trees but I found a couple of bugs on the first one we had inside which freaked me out so we ended up swapping it for the smaller one we originally put outside. I only have one photo of that tree, which you can see below.
Oh well, searching for the tree was really fun, and I love the smaller tree we got for outside. And since it’s been raining 24/7 here in Washington I was happy to bring it in to enjoy it more. Eric and I plan to make a new tradition of donating to have trees planted in the National Forest since we enjoy cutting our trees from there.
Anyway, here are some more photos of our RV decorated for Christmas. Enjoy!
