Welcome to Week 12 of The Makers Link Party! I have been sick the past few days but on the plus side I am doing better today. I thought it was just allergies so I kept trying to push through but that just made it worse. Apparently my blog hasn’t been feeling well either because every time I tried to update it, there were “internal server errors”. Fun stuff.

The past few days feel like a blur, but the one thing I do remember is Game of Thrones. Yes, I made myself get up to watch that show because it is AWESOME. I don’t watch a lot of tv shows, but that’s one I wish would just keep playing. Do you watch it?

I feel so behind and although it’s only been a few days, it feels like months. Is it just me or does the blogging world move super fast? I am excited to visit your blogs today and see what you have been up to so let’s get this party started, shall we?

Don’t forget to visit this week’s featured blogger and the party features!

This week’s top post was these lovely dyed and painted swaddle blankets from Small + Friendly. They are each so cute and unique, it’s tough to pick a favorite!

Small + Friendly is full of lovely DIYs and crafts as well as thoughtful posts on kids and parenting. Here are just a few favorites:
Follow Carla on Social Media to make sure you don’t miss a post!

It is always so hard to narrow all of your great projects down to just a few features! Here are a few that stood out last week:

This decorative sphere from House on the Way is so fun and unique! You have to go see what she made it out of. So smart!

How cute is this Embroidered Geometric Canvas Tote from Just Be Crafty? The embroidery is fresh and modern, and the faux leather bottom classes it up.

Corinna from For My Love Of did a great job painting this Southwestern Inspired Feature Wall. It is big and bold, and we can’t wait to see how the finished room looks.

Mmm… Zucchini Fritters. These little lovelies come from Southern Distinctions.

And, finally, Bre of BrePurposed shared her super cool Leather Stamped Plant Tags. (You have to check out the names she gave to her plants!)

  1. Thanks for the party Katie…I hope you’re feeling better! I’ll have to check out Game of Thrones (I don’t watch a lot of TV but love getting into a few programs…and I have a free month of Netflix right now!)

  2. Yay! Thanks a bunch for featuring my little Sorbo! Awesome other features! Hope you’re feeling better and have a great rest of the week!

  3. So sorry to hear you’ve been sick! I was on my death bed sick for like 6 days and then it lingered around another 4 or so day. It was just a cold I think, but felt like a death cold. Now allergies are just keeping me slightly miserable. And I totally know what you mean about feeling behind. I’m out of the house for the morning and feel like it takes me two days to catch up! Feel better friend!

    1. Thanks Amy! Yeah I have slowly been getting better and today was feeling pretty good until the whole allergies thing kicked in again, bleh. Glad yo hear you are feeling better especially after 6 days! Yikes, that’s rough!

Yeah, I never feel caught up as it is and getting sick definitely through me for a loop. My days are all outta whack too, haha. Happy to be back to the fun world of blogging and projects 🙂
