I hope you have been enjoying the holidays with friends and family, and that Santa brought you everything you asked for. I enjoy giving gifts more than receiving them, but have to admit that my Kreg Jig Master System had me all giddy like a little kid this Christmas. Do you have a Kreg Jig and if so what have you built with it?
The last few days have been great despite some phone issues and my mom’s awful case of the flu, which landed her in the hospital {she’s much better now}. It was great to visit with family and to FINALLY finish the audiobook, Insurgent, on the loooong roadtrip we endeavored. Yes, Eric and I are nerds that like to listen to audiobooks on roadtrips, and we are not afraid to admit it.
2013 has been an incredible year and I’m looking forward to what 2014 will bring. Of course the biggest highlight of 2013 would have to be getting married, woot-woot! Eric still jokes about how I told him I would never get married, but 6 years later he obviously proved me wrong and I couldn’t be happier, haha. I am so grateful that we found each other, and that I get to spend the rest of my life with him.

Hi sweetie,
It was a wonderful Christmas wasn’t it. That is a great picture of you and Eric, it just screams a marriage made in heaven.
Love ya
Dad
Yeah, the fact that the gazebo wasn’t finished actually turned out okay because we were able to dance under the stars, which was beautiful 🙂
What an amazing year for you, Katie!! You’ve been featured on Sunday Features {Give Me The Goods} and will be on my FB page today 😉
