Welcome to Weekend DIY Inspiration, Girlfriend’s DIY week 7! Here you get four fabulous DIY projects from my Upcycling friends, and plenty of inspiration for the weekend. Check out what we have in store for you this week!
Tami from Curb Alert shares how to make this Ballards Design Knock off Clam Shell planter. You will not believe what it started out as.
Karen from Redouxinteriors shares how to make Faux Antique books. She found hers in a stack next to a dumpster!
Becky from Beyond the Picket Fence is always coming up with original projects from upcycled wood. This coat rack is perfect for any spot in your home. So many colors, so many possibilities!
And this warm weather has me dreaming of the beach, what about you? Did you ever see the nautical ship helm wreath I shared last year?
Sadly, this will be my last week in this DIY weekend upcycle group. I am finding it difficult to balance everything, especially now that I am customizing wedding invitations over at my wedding site. It makes me sad, since these ladies are so awesome and creative, but I knew something would have to give. Ya know, so that I may be able to get sleep at some point, haha.
Be sure to check out each project, you will find tons more inspiration at each site. Happy DIYing this weekend!
Katie you always inspire me, I am so excited your wedding invitation business is getting super busy!! Have a wonderful weekend – xo
Tanya
Thank you so much Tanya! It’s definitely exciting but I have gotta figure out a way to balance it all and still find time for the Mr. haha. Hope you are enjoying your weekend!
This is such a fun series! Love that clam shell planter.
I’m so so so happy to hear about the success of your business!!! Congrats!
Thanks Amy! I agree, and these ladies are so talented! I just feel guilty for not being able to put as much into it as I would like and that’s not fair to them. I am looking forward to continuing to check out the series though, and see what they share! Thanks for stopping by!
