Fall is upon us and I have to admit that it’s my favorite season. We were married in October so that could also be why this month holds an extra special place in my heart.
FREE Whimsical Wedding Invitation Template
This month I wanted to share another FREE Whimsical Wedding Invitation Template and matching RSVP card that I think would be perfect for someone planning a rustic, whimsical or enchanted wedding. You will need to add your own custom text to the designs but can then print as many copies as you need.
Where to Print
Due to the amount of ink required for the background on this floral chalkboard set, I recommend getting these printed professionally. The samples you see here were printed at our local Staples but you can take them to any office supply store that offers printing, or any other local or online print shop.
Depending on how many templates you need printed, it generally costs less to get invitations professionally printed rather than spend a ton of money on ink and print from home. Plus if you keep an eye out, most office supply stores will also offer coupons on their printing services 🙂
Where to purchase paper and envelopes
You can find paper at a local office supply shop, craft or paper store, or even online. We purchased all of the paper for our wedding stationery at Paper and More and I love their products and service. I’m showing a couple of pocketfold color options below so you can see what they would look like.
The top color is the Botanic Green pocketfold and the bottom is Metallic Orange Flame. I also love the metallic copper pocketfold {not shown}, but you can see the copper envelope below as well. The RSVP cards are 3.5 x 5 and will fit inside an A-1 {4 Bar} envelope, like this one.
If you decide to attach the invitation to a pocketfold envelope, these adhesive strips are a great alternative to glue.
How to customize the free templates:
All of the items in my shop are currently set up to be edited with your own image editing software or at PicMonkey, and you can view my tutorials on doing that here.
I do offer the editable PDF templates over in my shop, in addition to some other color options.
Fonts Used:
The fonts used are Boho Script {a paid font} and Montserrat {a free font} that I used in all caps.
Although the design is not editable, all you have to do is add your personalized info to the template in the free font, or you can add any other font you prefer.
Please keep in mind that these are for personal use only and cannot be changed, resold or redistributed. Feel free to contact me with any questions. Enjoy!

Hi there Katie, I like the invitation template, the blending of the colors is just awesome. I have downloaded the png format and its really cute. I think I am going to try out something with this. Thanks.
Cindy
It was a great read and fantastic wedding invitation templates. It could have cost me a few bucks if I wanted to make it through a designer. Thank you very much for sharing this wonderful post. 🙂
