Happy Tuesday! I hope you had an awesome weekend! We had family in town all last week and it was so much fun catching up and hanging out with my 3 year old niece, who is the coolest kid ever!

Did you see the bed they built for her while they were here? Ya know, because who doesn’t go on vacation to build furniture?

This is the photo I shared on instagram:

My brother has never built furniture before, but had a ton of fun hanging out with the hubs and I think they did an awesome job! Everyone in the family helped in some way, and it was fun all hanging out in the garage.

I was also able to finish up a new mason jar chandelier, and Isla {my niece} helped with that too. I can’t wait to share it with you guys!

We hadn’t seen my brother since our wedding last October so I may have fallen behind on some things, and will be playing catch up this week 🙂

I can’t wait to see what you’ve been up to, so let’s get onto the party!

I love this upcycle idea! Jamie from Anderson + Grant took an old sauce pot and turned it into a basket.

Carrie at Carrie This Home did a fantastic job making over her deck on a budget! She has some great tips for a product that sealed in the splinters which saved them a ton of money.

I’ve always wanted to try Board and Batten and love the grid pattern that Kira at Seven Town Way did in her entry. She has a great tutorial that you’ve got to check out if this project in on your to do list.

Summer ain’t over just yet and this corn salad with basil from Sarah at Homeology Modern Vintage, would be the perfect side for any summer meal.

I’ve started decorating for fall a bit and love the texture and color of this fall wreath from Kendra at Joy in Our Home.

  1. I love your blog, but it drives me crazy that I can’t continuously scroll through your content. Am I missing something? Is there some way I can view all your posts chronologically? Please let me know! Again, I love your blog, and thanks for the great content!

    1. Thanks Karina! To be honest, I’ve been needing to fix that ever since I changed blog themes because it bothers me too. Thanks for bringing it up so I could look into it! I wasn’t able to figure out a way to get all of my posts to show up on one page {with still keeping my home page the same}, but I did add the archives to the sidebar so you can select the month, and all of the posts will show up that way. Hope that makes it a little less annoying 🙂

  2. Thanks so much for featuring my wreath, Katie!!! I appreciate it lots! I love that bed for your little niece… sorta similar to a plan we have for our little girl!
