The Makers Link Party #15

The Makers Link Party #15

Welcome to another awesome week of The Makers Link Party! Did you have a good weekend? Mine was good but I’m a little jealous of Alexis of Persia Lou for attending the SNAP! blogging conference. It sounds like she had a ton of fun and learned some great tips from the amazing blogger speakers that were there. I’m so excited for her! Do you know anyone that went?

Thanks to Katie of Addicted to DIY I was able to buy a ticket to the Haven conference this year and am so excited! I actually won a ticket last year but had only been blogging a couple months and although I learned A LOT, I feel like I will get even more out of it this time around. If you’re going make sure to leave a comment so I’ll know to look out for you! By the way, if you don’t know what Haven is, it’s a DIY/Home Blogging Conference that will take place in Atlanta in July :)

Now onto the party! Link up your creative endeavors {DIY projects, crafts, recipes, home decor ideas, before and afters, etc.}, check out some new blogs and don’t forget to visit this week’s blogger of the week and party features!

Onto the features!

This week’s winning post is this lovely little Succulent and Cactus Terrarium from Life. Love. Larson. Isn’t it great? Andrea shares the step-by-step on how to make your own terrarium for less than $23 (she even uses some Dollar Store finds!).
Andrea’s home is just gorgeous and full love lots of inspirational DIYs. I definitely recommend taking some time to browse around her lovely site. Here are a few favorites to get you started:

Again, there was so much awesome at last week’s party it was tough to narrow it down to just five favorites. Here are some of the best! Please click over and give these ladies some love, and don’t forget to pin from the original source please.

Let’s start off with these ridiculously gorgeous angel food cupcakes with fluffy orange cream cheese frosting from the always lovely Amy of Club Narwhal. Anyone else just want to stick their face into that photo? No? Just me?

Next up, get ready to be jealous because Kayla of Homecoming has the most beautiful new Master Bathroom and she is giving us a tour. The tile! It’s really, really just beautiful. A must see for sure.

And, how about Crushed Lemonhead Ice Cream? That’s a big heck yes for me. Simply Gloria has the scoop (get it?) on how to make this tangy treat.

Rachel from Like a Saturday is sharing how she made this pretty Anthropologie Inspired Dessert Stand. It’s sophisticated and simple, which are two of my favorite things.

Finally, we have this super cool DIY Faux Pull Down Map from Brave New Home. Jennifer has given an old map a whole new look with some simple additions.

Don’t forget to grab yourself a button if you were featured! We thank you for being so awesome!
