Eric and I chose not to have a gender reveal party, but today we’re announcing the sex of our baby!

We’ve known since we received the NIPT results during week 10, and are currently 23 weeks. I’m definitely in full-fledge baby-mode right now – trying to learn as much as I can and probably spending too much time researching strollers, changing pads, and diaper trash cans than I ever thought possible. It feels good to be on this side of the pregnancy, embracing it more and more every day and cherishing every baby kick.

I do want to take a moment to say that I understand some people find gender reveal parties and announcements offensive, and we certainly don’t mean to offend anyone. Given our history, we’re grateful to be experiencing such an amazing pregnancy and look forward to bringing this little one earth side – regardless of gender. With that said, we thought it would be fun to share a video announcing the sex of the baby, especially after receiving so many emails and messages.

Watch the video below to see if the old wives’ tales predictions were true – we go over 15 of them, before having our dogs reveal what we’re having.
