Whether you’re planning an RV reno or simply want to follow along with our progress, here’s an update from Eric on what we’ve accomplished in our coach this past week.
As we mentioned last week, figuring out the best technique with each RV project is our main objective, and although it may seem as though we are moving slow, we’re happy to be making progress :).

Figuring out Those Captain’s Chairs
Last week we mentioned we made a couple of mistakes with the Captain’s Chairs as we tried to update them to fit our new design. This week we spent a good amount of time removing the mistakes we made last week (the paint we had put on it). Once we had it all removed we went about trying a couple of new approaches, and are happy to say we found one. This new approach not only will make them look the way we want them to, but will also ensure they remain durable.
Once we have them completely finished we will highlight the mistakes we made along the way, as well as the final technique we ended up using. That way you can avoid the miscues we ran into.
Painting the Dashboard
We knew from the beginning that our dashboard would not remain the same color, but this week we decided to go ahead and change it up. It was a relatively easy process, though we did learn some lessons with this project as well. We will soon share a post that highlights the mistakes we made, so if you are going to be changing the color of your dashboard feel free to check back for that.
That about wraps it up for RV Renovation Week 7.
