Hi, everyone! My name is Brooke and I blog over at DesignedByBH.com about crafts/DIY, recipes/food, and of course, all things wedding! I am honored and excited to be posting on Katie’s behalf while she is away for her very own wedding. Woo-hoo! I’m sure that you’ll all agree with me about the fact that I can’t wait to see pictures!
If you follow my blog, you may recognize this post…but the information is good, so I wanted to share it here, as well! As you already know, there are a million and a half details that go into planning a wedding. Today on the menu is Reception Food. If you’ve been planning your wedding and talking to run-of-the-mill caterers there is a good chance that my previous sentence evoked a big yawn. But it doesn’t have to! Believe it or not, food can be fun! At the very least, it can be memorable.
So aside from having food trucks, which isn’t always practical, what can you do? The answer…Food Stations. They’re like the centers you used to have in Kindergarten where you’d color, then play with blocks, then learn how to read a clock…but they’re all about food. Is anyone else getting hungry? If you’re not, check out the ideas below (and check out their sources, too)…my guess is that you’ll be drooling on your keyboard! 🙂
