Happy Friday! Do you have plans for the weekend? I still have a loooooong list of projects I’d love to tackle! In fact, this week has been so crazy busy that I can’t believe I still haven’t stained my new AMAZING office storage that the hubs recently built for me. Isn’t he awesome?

You may have seen that photo posted on my instagram last week. It’s based off the plans for a Wisteria console table which cost over $1,000, and I recently found a similar one at Home Goods for $500…just a tad out of my price range but hey that’s what makes DIY so much fun, right? Although I do love those casters and may have to upgrade to some larger, vintage style ones at some point… Anyway, I’ll share more on that project and the plans we used in a future post.

I teamed up with my bloggy buddies Karen from Redouxinteriors, Tami from Curb Alert, and Becky from Beyond the Picket Fence for our weekend project inspiration, who all enjoy repurposing and creating from found junk, aka “treasures”. No I’m not a hoarder, I’m an upcycler. 🙂

Don’t have a headboard? Draw one! Tami from Curb Alert shares how to Draw your own Headboard on a Chalk board wall. This is an awesome project for a teen’s room and it won’t break the bank either!

Did you ever see these cube tables I found at Goodwill for $5? They were in pretty rough shape but I gave them a bit of love and was able to transform them with some paint and pallet wood. You can see the before photo and check out my tutorial here.
