Happy Friday, friends! You may notice my site looks a little different today and that’s because it is, but nothing too drastic. The theme I was previously using {which is essentially the design backbone of my blog} was discontinued and hadn’t been updated since January. Yowzers!
This has been causing lots of internal bloggy issues that were getting a tad bit annoying, so I decided to finally suck it up and change the theme. If you have visited my wedding site you may notice it looks a bit similar. It’s actually the same theme I just tweaked it a little bit. I still have some more design tweaks to make, but there is only so much I can get done in the wee hours of the night 🙂
I decided to make it “live” anyway because my blog is already running so much better, yay! You may notice a few wonky design things here and there, so I apologize in advance, but know that I plan on working those things out in the next few days.
Anyway, let’s move on to some weekend DIY inspiration!
Weekend DIY Inspiration
Here you get four fabulous DIY projects from my Upcycling friends, and plenty of inspiration for the weekend. Check out what we have in store for you this week!
Could your mail use some organizing? Or maybe your office? Becky from At The Picket Fence shares this super awesome mail organizer using old books! I LOVE this idea! Click here for the step by step directions on how to make one for yourself.
How clever are these Faux Deer Antlers via Curb Alert? And you know I love that gold shimmer! Tami is so amazingly creative, and you won’t believe what they looked like when she started! Click here to see the transformation!
Karen’s Farm Table with Free Planks could be one of my all time favorite DIY projects. Can you believe the planks were literally found on the side of the road!? Click here to check out how to turn your old Farm Table into a cool planked table too.
This is the first project I created where I felt that I actually put a fresh spin on an old idea, and that my creativity was finally beginning to flow. I basically put my love for mason jars together with my love for vintage yardsticks and created a fun storage solution. Click here to see the tutorial!
I hope you are feeling inspired to get your DIY on this weekend. Thanks for stopping by!
such a creative collection katie! thank you for the inspiration! =)
I adore the mason jar craft with the yard sticks, that’s a neat twist. That farm table also looks amazing!
100% making those jar holders! Absolutely love that wood table top as well.
