Weekend Upcycled Inspiration {Girlfriend’s DIY}
Wow, can you believe it’s already Friday? Seriously, where does the time go? It’s funny because prior to blogging I would be so excited for Friday, but nowadays I feel like there just isn’t enough time in the day {or week} to accomplish everything I want. Funny how that works.
I have a lot of projects to work on this weekend, but if the weather is nice Eric and I are hoping to go on a little hike with Bailey. I could definitely go for some sunshine and exercise, umm did you know I haven’t worked out since our wedding?? Yikes! Yeah, again, where does the time go? haha. I really need to get back on a Pilates schedule, because I know my mind could use some mega de-stressing and I guess wearing yoga pants all day doesn’t really count as exercise. Darn.
How do you de-stress or get your mind quiet? I would LOVE to hear your tips in the comments!
Looking for some weekend upcycle inspiration? This is your place to get inspired for the weekend, and to get your own DIY projects going. Take a few minutes (okay, maybe longer if you are like me) and check out each fabulous project. Let us know if you are inspired to try one!
Karen from Redoux Interiors shows us how to make this awesome pallet work bench. I love that it is on wheels–I need one!
Tami from Curb Alert made an outdated hutch sing with new Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. Wow, what a statement piece!
Becky from Beyond The Picket Fence shows you how to make a scrap wood sofa table and there are so many different ways to vary it and make it unique. I need to make one of these ASAP! I am loving the colors on the wood too.
And did you ever see my very first wood shim wall art project that inspired my second gilded wood shim art? When we moved a couple months ago the glass on the frame broke {boooo}, but I actually like it better now in a strange way. Here is an updated photo of it on our living room gallery wall. Like how I keep showing you sneak peeks of that wall, but haven’t yet shown you the whole thing? Lol. Don’t worry, you’ll see it all soon enough 🙂
Here’s to a fun, DIY kind of a weekend!
