Ann and her husband, Tom, have been making a splash in the RV community with their beautifully renovated campers. And it’s no wonder with their experience designing and building homes for a combined time of 50 years!
Today we’re taking a peek inside their latest remodel, a 2013 Forest River Wildcat 5th wheel.

What inspired you to renovate RV’s?
Being a designer and a contractor, I think it is in our blood to re-do any space we get our hands on, lol.
What made you choose this specific RV to renovate?
We fell in love with the number of windows this unit has and the great-room feel this rear kitchen layout gives the living space. We also really liked the solar system the previous just had installed.
How would you describe your decorating style?
I enjoy working with a combination of styles, textures, and materials to create something unique that works naturally in the space. My designs tend to be clean, modern, functional, and uncluttered in nature-inspired color palettes. Being Swedish, I do have a love for Scandinavian style and lines.
What’s your favorite aspect of interior design?
The creative process of taking something from concept to finished product.
What are your favorite places to source products and decor?
We use Amazon, Wayfair and Home Depot a lot but most accessories and decor I pick up at our local Home Goods or TJ Maxx.
What was most challenging about this Forest River 5th wheel renovation?
The time aspect of only having weekends to work on it.
What project made the most difference?
Hard to tell since the interiors changed pretty drastically everywhere. But the bathroom and bedroom felt very cramped before so we decided against the shower stall to open the space up. In order to make the shower more functional, we had custom shower splash panels made that work fantastic with a shower drape and a liner. Rebuilding the kitchen upper cabinetry and the bathroom vanity also were big changes that improved both functionality and looks.
What is your favorite piece of decor or splurge-worthy item that was incorporated into the interior?
The solid surface Corian countertops that we had fabricated and installed, we were able to add an overhang to create bar seating for 2 as well.
What piece of advice would you give someone about to embark on an RV renovation?
Take your time and do your research, it is a super fun process but can be stressful if you start to take things out and then don’t have a plan for how to put things back together again. Also, set a budget, and don’t underestimate the amount of work involved.
Do you have a favorite RV destination or camping spot?
We love camp trips to the wine country but one of our favorite places to camp is June Lake, CA.
Do you take on custom renovation projects or offer design consulting?
We do some client-owned RV renovations as well as our flips, and we are in the process of adding consulting as something we can offer to our services.
